I am so blessed to have a been a part of Lara & Darcy’s wedding day. Surrounded by their dearest family and friends, their wedding was a feast for the soul! A million thanks to my second photographer, Hombeline Dumas, who always gives 110% and knows exactly what I’m thinking before I do. Here are a few of my favorite images from the day.

La première fois que j’ai rencontré Melissa & Bernard, j’ai aussi fait la rencontre de leurs parents et leur frères et soeurs. Ils ont une famille qui aime rire et sourire et ce fut vraiment agréable de passer la journée de mariage ensemble. Mais avant leur mariage, nous avons passés une superbe journée au jardin botanique pour leur séance de photo avant-mariage. Voiçi quelques-unes de mes photos favorites de la journée.

The very first time I met Melissa & Bernard, I also met their parents and siblings. They are a heartwarming family who love to laugh and spending the wedding day with them was a real treat! However, before the wedding day, I spent a sunny afternoon with Melissa & Bernard at the jardin botanique. Here are a few of my favorite images from their engagement session.

I can’t believe that it’s already April! Wedding season is fast approaching, and I realize that I have to get my butt in gear and get some of the blog posts up that I have been working on! In the meantime, here’s a quick resume of the blog posts to come!

Catherine & Andrew’s winter wedding.Lara & Darcy had a deliciously delightful Italian wedding.I just loved Melissa & Bernard’s family!Amélie & Simon were married right here in Beloiel! I love this antique car.Gorgeous! Fabienne & Patrick had a lovely wedding in the Old Port.More wedding bliss in downtown Montreal with Julie & Stéphane’s wedding.I swear, I have never seen such a tiny bride as Bassem’s Mariam!My most photographed couple, Marie-Pier and Mathieu also had a winter wedding.All the way from Belgium, Emily & Goran had a beautiful fall wedding.Jamaica! Need I say more?!And lastly, Elizabeth & Jean-Guy, the sweetest couple ever.

J’adore photographié les détails dans chaque mariage. Les souliers, le bouquet, les alliances, le centre de table, les bonbonières, en bref tout les petits détails qui font que chaque mariage est unique. Et les couleurs! Rouge, rose, mauve, orange, aqua, tout est permis!

One of the things that I love about weddings are the details. The shoes, the flowers, the rings, the favours and the centrepieces, in short, all the little details that make each and every wedding unique. Not to mention the colours! Red, pink, orange, purple, teal, anything goes!

Those shoes! I just love the red!

Hayley & Shane…Married!

It’s so hard to put into words the complicity of this couple; Hayley is as gorgeous on the inside as she is on the outside, and has the most beautiful smile that lights up every room she walks in. Shane is down to earth and so grounded. Together they are a spectacular couple! Not to mention, their little pooch Roxie, who always comes a’runnin’ whenever I walk in.

Hayley & Shane were married in their friend’s gorgeous backyard on the edge of the water in Hudson. The house and grounds are breathtakingly gorgeous, but what I particularly loved about their wedding was the family feel of the dinner: barbecued chicken with home fries and roasted vegetables. They are truly blessed to have such close friends and family. Here are a few of my favorite images from their day.

Linda & Seyha…Une journée de promenade

This year I have been blessed to have been busy, busy, busy! I haven’t been updating the blog as much as I should, but now that I have a bit more time, stay tuned for some new blog posts!

Linda and Seyha are getting married next year, but unfortunately I’m not available to photograph their wedding. Not to be deterred, they decided to have an engagement session anyways, so we started the day in the Old Port of Montreal and finished the session in Mont-Saint-Bruno. Mont-Saint-Bruno is known for it’s herds of deer and one little deer wandered right into the midst of our photoshoot! It was a lovely, chilly autumn day and I’m proud to share a few of my favorite images from the session!

Amélie & Simon…A Day in Mont-Saint-Hilaire

I was absolutely thrilled when Amélie & Simon decided to have their e-session here in their hometown of Mont-Saint-Hilaire! I’ve lived in this area for the past eight years, and I love the mix of small town urban and rustic countryside that surrounds the mountain. It was a great opportunity to start seeing the area in a new light and not just as the background of my everyday activities. I think you’ll agree that the result is a delightful mix of sweet and sassy and I’m happy to share some of my favorite images from their session!

Catherine & Eric…{the Wedding!}

I’ve been working on this blog post for months, trying to reduce the number of images in the post, but I’ve finally come to the conclusion that less is not always more! You might remember Catherine and Eric from their e-session photos here, an exuberant couple with nothing but smiles for each other. They were married on a beautiful September day at La Distinction in Joliette and I’m so proud to finally share some of my favorite images from their wedding. Check back soon for images from their “Trash the Dress” session! A big thanks to Stéphanie Cormier-Maltais, my assistant and second shooter for the day.

Ca fait plusieurs mois que je travaille sur cette entrée pour mon blog, essayant de réduire le nombre d’images! Finalement, j’ai conclus que dans ce cas, c’est presque impossible! Vous vous souvenez peut-être de Catherine et Eric de leur séance avant-mariage, un couple avec beaucoup d’énergie et de grands sourires. Ils se sont mariés par une belle journée du mois de septembre à La Distinction à Joliette et je suis vraiment fière de vous présenter quelques-unes de mes photos préférées de la journée. Colette & Curt…

One of the things I love about being a photographer is the opportunity to meet so many amazing people from all over the globe! Colette and Curt were here from Switzerland during a whirlwind trip to Canada to visit family and friends. Since both Colette and Curt graduated from McGill University, we meandered through the McGill campus for their session. Colette is also a photographer, and you can see her website here, so it was a little nerve-wracking, but they are so down to earth and whimsical, that I had a great time working with them. Also, you might have noticed that Colette is sporting a little baby bump! Here are a few of my favorite images from their session.
