Suzie & Corey…Afternoon light in Hudson

Fall is my favorite season to photograph with it’s deep, vibrant colors, cooler weather and the golden light of the sun. However, fall can be a little grey, so I was ecstatic with the perfect day for a lovely afternoon session in Hudson.

I met up with Suzie and Corey in Hudson, a virtual mecca of trees and flowers, stone walls and beaches. The light was just perfect to highlight Suzie’s gorgeous red hair and if you look closely, you’ll notice that Corey has eyes of different colors!

I can’t wait to photograph their wedding! In the meantime, here are some of my favorite images from the engagement session.

Julie - OMG Chantal, these photos are absolutely stunning! I can’t wait until our session!

Jenny & Rob…Pink Converse at the Château Vaudreuil

Jenny and Rob are the kind of people that you meet only once in a while. Witty, silly, happy-go-lucky, and just plain adorable, these two carry the warmth of a Christmas fireplace in their hearts and spread happiness and joy where ever they go. Their wedding day was a day full of surprises and much laughter. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much at a wedding!

Rob has a penchant for Converse shoes and Jenny loves surprises! Put the two together and you get the best kept secret; Jenny surprised Rob after the ceremony, showing off her bright pink Converse shoes! During the preparations Jenny was adamant that they wear proper dress shoes for the wedding, so Rob had no idea! Priceless!

Enormous thanks and gratitude goes to my second photographer Hombeline Dumas who spent the morning photographing the guys during their preparations and for her tireless energy and optimism. Here are some of my favorite images from the day.

Catherine & Andrew…A winter wedding in Old Montreal

Right after Christmas holidays, I had the pleasure of photographing Catherine and Andrew’s beautiful winter wedding at the Hotel Place d’Armes in Old Montreal. Not only are these two head over heels in love, they are also a lovely couple, radiating happiness wherever they go and this couple has traveled all over the globe!

These two have to be one of the most fit couples I have ever met and no wonder! Andrew plays defense for the Houston Dynamos, and spends most of the year training or playing soccer in the MLS and Catherine is an ashtanga yoga instructor.

They have graciously allowed me to share my favorite wedding images from their wedding day and so here are just a few of my favorites!

Meredith & Rodney…in the Old Port of Montreal

Meredith & Rodney are the perfect combination of serious and funny, wry and whimsical, and are all smiles and laughter. You’d never know to look at Rodney that he almost lost his life last year to illness! So, after a little hiatus, Meredith & Rodney are finally going to tie the knot, and I’m proud to present you a few of my favorite images from their engagement session in the Old Port of Montreal.
